Decent pillow protectors.
These were bought, along with pillows, in preparation for an elderly relative returning home from hospital. They fitted just right, there are discrete and do not reduce the comfort of the pillow.

They are also more durable, stain-resistant, shrink and wrinkle less than pure cotton.
