The Habitat Squares Plus 16 Cube Storage Unit gives you proper space to organise books, games, ornaments and everyday bits when clutter's taking over. It's built with a thick frame that feels solid and substantial, with hidden fittings so you don't see any screws or brackets from the outside. There are 16 separate cube spaces you can arrange however suits you best, leave them open for easy access or add your own storage boxes to hide things away. It works as a room divider or against a wall, the neat design looks good from every side.
Each cube space fits standard storage boxes or larger items, with internal dimensions for boxes up to 33cm high and wide. The structure has strong shelving throughout, keeping everything stable and evenly distributed. The grey finish blends with most room schemes without standing out. It's 145cm tall and weighs 55kg, so wall fixing is important to prevent tipping and ensure safety. Fixings aren't included; you'll need the right ones for your wall type. Arrives flat-packed; two people are recommended for assembly. Comes with a one-year guarantee.

Nice but..
I bought this for our new house and whilst I am relatively happy with it it’s not entirely sturdy and I’ve had to add extra brackets to secure it. Was incredibly difficult to put together I had to pay someone to do it and he had to get a friend to help as it required a lot of force to slot the top on. Extremely heavy. The capacity is very good and I bought squares from Amazon to fit as the cube dimensions are bigger than most of this kind of furniture. Aesthetically it’s ok to look at in the grey but I do wish I had bought the white instead.

Disappointed there is no telephone number to discuss issues. My unit was damaged in an area that could be hidden so we built it anyway as time didn’t allow return. Some compensation would have been appropriate.

Habitat Cubes storage unit’s
These storage cubes are fantastic for storing arts and crafts products but you could store absolutely anything in them. They are really nice to look at and for kid’s bedrooms would be ideal. I decided to buy them because I already had some in my living room and I thought they would be great for all my crafting supplies. I actually bought two of them. But they are bigger than I thought and so sturdy. The delivery men even carried them upstairs for me and put them in the bedroom. I am even thinking about buying more as they are so nice. I am really happy with them.

Thanks for your query about the Squares Plus 16 Cube Storage Unit - White.
No, we’d advise against this due to its structural set up. The sides rest on the base panel and the top rests on the side panels so the weight gets distributed down onto the base safely. The dowels that hold all the parts in place would not be as structurally strong as these panels are were you to turn it onto its side. The shelves run the full width from side to side of the unit but, if set on it’s side, the functioning shelves would be the side walls of each “box” section and these are not intended to work as shelving, they’re designed to be dividers only.

No, the Habitat Squares Plus 16 Cube Storage Unit are not designed to be stacked. Placing one on top of the other could potentially damage them.
