The fabric is of good quality and the stitching is firm. We will see how the stitching fairs over the years as from past experience of this type of duvets, the stitching normally unravels leaving the duvet stuffing to become distorted and bumpy in places.

No, I put mine in the 9kg washing machine and its not got a massive whole ripped in it. Mine is a king size duvet !! If I knew this would happen I would have taken it to the dry cleaners but trusted that is would be ok due to the description.
