Recommended value for money
The blind looks nice, easy to fit. Fitted in the bathroom. The window has obscured glass, so I'm not too sure if it would block images with clear glass at night. value for money. It is a basic style roller blind. It could do with trimming slightly at either side, I have an old property building. I didn't trim, as I don't want to mess up the blind.

Not as good as expected
Tricky to mount plus the white colour is missing in small tiny patches, here and there. It also doesn't roll up in a straight line, quite difficult to adjust. Been tempted to return it but too much hassle!

While you could do as you state, you are indeed limited by the right hand side bracket that used to tie the cord in place to hold the blind.

As the blinds are not complete black out blinds shadows would be able to be seen through the blind when the lights are on.
