Cute and fitted in seconds, casts a warm light but not so ridiculously yellow that you can't find things. Don't know why it says it's for kids though, adults like colour too
Bought this for our living room, it's so sturdy. Great quality, a beautiful colour. I like the warm orange glow it adds.
Also will be easy to remove and store. It is velcro and two metal rings, so easy to fold back down.
My ceilings aren’t that high and I have waved my arms around and bumped into this lampshade a bunch of times. It’s sturdy. It’s aesthetic and it gives off such a comforting glow
this is really lovely, but it blocks quite a lot of light from the light bulb, so not ideal if you have a dark room. The overall effect is a lovely orange / yellow glow so ideal for low light in childs bedroom
Creates a very yellow hue to the room. Have to have a very bold white bulb. Blocks out bulb light & creates quite a dark room.

I bought a number of these lampshades in different colours/styles as I loved the first one I got so much! I think they're excellent value for money, and look and have a design feel of a more expensive shade. And I found them easy to fold together. Yes, you can see the join but it's minor. Grab it while you can!
This is extremely hard to put up. Fiddly metal rings, opening the concertina out and pressing the Velcro together to hold it. This is a real mess to do and hard to do on a ladder or step. The result is a wonky shade you can’t adjust. Not only that, you have to do it each time you put in a lightbulb. Unnecessarily difficult. Only good thing is it recyclable.
I picked this up as it looked impressive however the 'kids' shade in a fitting term. Why? Okay, the shade is actually fairly well made and gives a lovely warm light especially for the price, however, when it comes together and velco's around the light bulb there is an overlap. This fold in the paper creates a somewhat unsatisfactory lighting effect, and sadly takes away from what would otherwise be amazing light diffusion. Good job, Habitat for making something like this affordable, however I would pay a little more for something made a little better/seemless.
