Great looking rug but dreadful shedding
Nice, vibrant colours. Lots of fluff that has clogged up the vacuum. I doubt it will ever get to the stage of no longer shedding fibres. I'd imagine a nightmare if you have allergies etc.

Gorgeous rug!
Such a lovely rug that adds subtle colour to a room. The colours are so nice even better in person. Nice depth and does shed a bit but really no issue due to the quality of the rug and how cosy it makes the room feel!

Please don’t buy this rug! The shedding never stops and if you suffer from asthma it will kill you and will cost you a brand new hover. Honest and candid feedback.

Love it.
Great rug, it needs a bit of time to settle with shedding, so need to hover daily for about a week. The room is warmer and the dog loves it too.

Good quality
Bought this for the lounge, I was attracted by the design and the fact that it is pure long piled wool. It does shed a lot of fluff at first, but all wool carpets do that, it settles down after a while, but does fill up the Dyson quite quickly! The description says it’s got a non slip backing, all I can say is that it doesn’t work! Very happy with it especially as I bought it in the half price sale . Had lots of great comments about home good it looks.

The supplier has advised the following for the Folktale Tufted Wool Flatweave Rug - 160x230cm:
Yes, shedding will reduce in time. We would recommend hoovering regularly (perhaps once or twice a week) Regular hoovering will prevent dirt build up in the wool fibres.
To prevent damage to the fibres, it is recommended to use the hose attachment and limit use of beater bars.

After checking with our supplier they have advised: This rug is made from the Hand Tufting technique. Yes, this rug can be vacuum cleaned.
