The Habitat Tatsuma Double Bed Frame gives you a comfortable place to sleep in a compact bedroom without taking over the room. It's a wooden frame with a gently curved headboard and tapered legs in ash finish that suit most bedroom styles. The light, simple design works well in smaller bedrooms or guest rooms where you want to keep things feeling open. Wooden slats across the base support your mattress and let air circulate underneath, so your mattress stays fresh and you're comfortable through the night. It's suitable for a double mattress and holds a maximum user weight of 220kg.
The ash finish brings natural wood tones into your bedroom. The frame sits 26.9cm off the floor, so you can clean underneath without any awkward bending. The siderails sit 35cm high, keeping your mattress in place. Tapered legs spread the weight evenly and keep everything stable. Assembly's required, and it's easier with two people to hold things in place while you fix it together. All fixings are included. There's a one-year guarantee from the manufacturer.

Nice bed but assembly instructions completely ina.
Nice looking bed. Seems good quality. BUT there were no paper instructions for assembly so I had to download them. They were completely incorrect! Parts were mislabeled and instructions were completely different to the parts I had so I just had to work it out. Very poor.

Beautiful quality bed.
Really well made and good quality, solid wooden bed. Looks lovely too, such a sleek and modern design. Quick and easy to put together with two people. Only minor thing is I wish the middle leg and centre big beam where the slats fit were ash wood as well. Would be pretty indestructible then! But overall we’re super happy with this bed for the price.

Sturdy
I’ve been using for about a month now. It was easy to put together, easier to do if you have two people. I like the look and love that it’s small profile, good quality and very sturdy. I don’t like that it’s a flat base, the mattress does move a bit, I forget when I lean on the bed sometimes. Also the headboard, I wouldn’t have chosen this frame knowing that the pillows are the perfect height for the gap in the headboard. Also note it has an extra leg under rather the bed sometimes drawers just about fit.

Having checked I can see the top rail of the head board is Plywood with ash veneer. Base slats are plywood. Support rails are pine. Other frame rails are solid ash.

Thanks for your query about the Tatsuma Double Wooden Bed Frame - Ash Stain.
Having checked to see, the corners at the ends on this are rounded. This is most visible at the front, foot, end. As the headboard attaches at an angle at the back, the curve, though it's there, is not so obviously visible to the eye at that end.

Having checked to see, it is a "platform" bed. It's just a flat surface on which the mattress rests, it doesn't have any side panels or anything that creates a lip or raised edge for the mattress to sit within.
