Made in Italy, the Ontario oak 60 x 80cm picture frame is a clean-lined, contemporary design that can be hung portrait or landscape. Designed by and exclusive to Habitat, the solid wood frame has a natural, unoiled finish and is available in a variety of sizes, and in matt black or white lacquered wood. The frame sits 1.5cm from the wall and the width of the frame is 2cm.

Very happy with this beautiful frame. I do wonder how strong the hook is that attaches the frame to the wall. It looks to be glued onto the back panel. I hope it never comes away from the frame. Also the frame is actually 60cm x 80cm not 24”x 31”.

Not real glass and colour is different
This frame is not the same as the one I bought a few years back. Same product name, but plastic instead of glass and the wood colour is now lighter, nothing like the picture on the website

Plastic!
Contrary to the misleading information on the website, these frames do NOT have glass. They have plastic. I had to return them as a result.
Disappointed
Disappointed with quality
When I unpacked the frame I was disappointed to see that the wood is not like the colour on the photo's, it's not as dark, and mine had circles on the wood grain with no pattern on, so it looks like small bleach marks which are noticeable.

Expensive for something that feels cheap
Does the job, but the wood feels cheap and as a result they’re a bit flimsy and bow easily. Expensive for what they are.

Yes it can - I have painted multiple myself. If painted properly using the correct materials there is no reason they cannot be painted.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Ontario Oak Picture Frame - Natural - 83x63cm and Habitat Houston Oak Wall Frame - Natural - 84x64cm 945/5993: the difference between these two are the moulding.

For photo size: 600mm X 800mm / 24 X 32inch (A1 size = 841mm x 594mm).
