I bought this so my granddaughter could stay. Looks good, firm but comfortable for occasional use as a chair and with a topper makes a good bed. Very easy to fold and unfold. Fabric soft to the touch, very pleased.

Look good and feel comfortable
Great addition to our garden room, used as occasional seating and beds for sleepovers. Kids report very comfortable as beds. We add mattress protector sheets. Great size when part-unfolded for lounging to enjoy garden view. Easy to put together. Very soft-feel fabric. Will mark quite easily.

The velvet fabric is luxurious and the simplicity of the form gives a modern feel. The technical construction of pockets/folding legs is simply ingenious. The chair is surprisingly firm, which I prefer as it will hold its form longer. As others have mentioned a little topper for sleeping makes for a comfortable nights sleep.

To attach the feet to the Habitat Roma Velvet Fabric Chairbed in Sage Green, simply pop them on the foot end. You can bend the chair down while leaving the backrest in place for easy access. The feet are fixed and do not require any additional assembly.

I can confirm you are able to place the foot end down on the Habitat Roma Velvet Fabric Chairbed - Sage Green, without having to lay the whole item flat. You can place the feet onto the foot end and bend it down, whilst leaving the back in its place.
