The Habitat Roma Velvet Fabric Chairbed gives you a comfy place to sit during the day and a proper single bed when friends stay over. It's upholstered in smooth sage velvet that feels lovely to the touch and adds a calm, contemporary feel to your living room or spare bedroom. The plump foam cushions are soft and supportive, whether you're settling in for a film or catching some sleep. The long back cushion with single button detail keeps things neat and modern. It transforms from chair to bed quickly, so you're always ready for overnight guests.
The velvet fabric's durable and adds a bit of texture to your room. Wooden feet lift it off the floor and keep it stable when you're sitting or sleeping. The fixed seat has foam and fibre wrap filling that holds its shape through regular use. Removable cushions let you plump and rotate them to even out wear. We boight this two weeks ago for when our son comes home for the weekend. It will be ideal. Ordinary single bedding will fit perfectly. I will take the advice of one reviewer and get a matress topper as the base is quite firm. We bought it in green and the colour is lovely, as is the fabric. It was very easy to convert to a bed and back again to a chair, which looks very modern and stylish. Would definitely recommend. Price was fantastic compared to others we looked at. If you need a spare bed that won’t take up too much room, this is the one. I’m one very happy shopper.

The velvet fabric is luxurious and the simplicity of the form gives a modern feel. The technical construction of pockets/folding legs is simply ingenious. The chair is surprisingly firm, which I prefer as it will hold its form longer. As others have mentioned a little topper for sleeping makes for a comfortable nights sleep.

To a degree this is a subjective opinion as what would be considered dark is partially up to the user. Also, how dark it may look will be affected by the lighting and decor in the location it's being used. It's not a light sage green shade though.

To attach the feet to the Habitat Roma Velvet Fabric Chairbed in Sage Green, simply pop them on the foot end. You can bend the chair down while leaving the backrest in place for easy access. The feet are fixed and do not require any additional assembly.

I can confirm you are able to place the foot end down on the Habitat Roma Velvet Fabric Chairbed - Sage Green, without having to lay the whole item flat. You can place the feet onto the foot end and bend it down, whilst leaving the back in its place.
