Looks great once installed, but be advised that you'll need two people to hang it (unless you're very good at juggling glass on a stepladder!).

I toom a risk in buying these as I was struggling to find a reasonably big (25cm diameter) shade. I love them. i bought 4 for my new kitchen/dining room and they look fab! They are clear glass and look good with a filament bulb (cool white) in them.

Cheap & Cheerful
I bought this to replace a similar shade which was smoked grey glass, but had sadly suffered some light damage. This shade is the same style & size, albeit clear glass rather than smoked. It looks good above my dining table with an oversized edison bulb. The quality isn't as good as my old shade (which was more expensive) but you can't tell now it's hung up. Definitely good value for money.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Habitat Clear Glass Easy Fit Pendant Shade - 25cm.
The top opening is 42mm which is big enough to fit in E27 lampholder.

As this is a subjective question regarding the Toba Clear Pendant Glass Shade it is difficult to give a reasonable answer. Being made of glass it would be classed as fragile, if dropped it would probably break, however it does weigh 600g and therefore it could be classed as reasonably strong.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: The size of the hole is about 42mm to fit E27 lampholder. The shade also comes with metal adaptor for you to fit E14 / BC lampholder.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: The recommended maximum wattage of bulb that can be used with this shade is 42W. We recommend you use an LED bulb, which has an equivalent wattage of 4-6W compared to a 40W halogen bulb.
