Great Product
I bought this just over 3 weeks ago and have had no problems. Good for when you can't be bothered or don't want to get out of your nice warm bed into the cold just to turn the light on or off etc. Nothing else to say really. It does what it says on the tin.

Not easy to set up
Not easy to link to your wifi unless you are willing and able to access your router settings and apply the settings, definitely not a plug and play bulb.

These bulbs are very good they are easy to connect with no problems but please be aware it says on the description you can change the different shades of White you cannot the bulb only stays at one shade of White if you want to be able to change the shades of white you need to buy the colour changing light bulb for about £5 extra

Worked but only within 2 metres of router.
Unfortunately this bulb would only work if within 6ft of our router. As it needed to be 15ft away had to return it. Bought smart plug instead which works perfectly 15 ft from router.

Not by default, however there is a work around via HomeBridge if you have this ability.

Hi!, Yes!, it will only work via the 2.5MHZ WiFi, however, by looking at the Troubleshooting page on the Wiz App, there are good instructions as to how you can Log into your Router, in order to split a WiFi connection into 2 Channels, I have with mine, one being 2.5MHZ and the other being 5MHZ.
This would then allow you to connect all your devices to either of the two frequencies.

The Philips Wiz B22 White Smart LED Wi-Fi Bulb will only operate on the 2.4Ghz WiFi range and not the 5Ghz. You can also use these with bluetooth connections as well.

Having checked, we would not recommend using a smart bulb in the same way as a regular one. If you are wishing to use one in that way and you don't have Wi-Fi access, you'd be best placed getting a non-smart bulb instead.

Hello there,
These can be used in conjunction with Hive however they aren't able to be used directly with the Hive hub. You will need to use a smart assistant, like Alexa or Google Home, to allow you to control these with hive.
