Not quite kingsize
Leaves a three inch gap around the mattress. Doesn’t go all the way to the edge of the mattress.

Smells a bit for a few days once opened due to memory foam, definitely leave to air for 48 hours, I put it straight on thinking could get away with not letting it air, wouldn’t advice this as smell sticks around longer, very comfy

1 inch thick ?
With this being 1 inch thick I would question the support/ comfort for anyone bigger than a 12 year old if you are of the larger size variety I would suggest a thicker foam is required,

Very comfortable once it’s on the bed, would have given 5stars but there are no corner elastics to keep it in place and the removable cover is only over the top (like a fitted sheet) Was really tricky to put the cover on and keeps rolling up

We can confirm you can use a Silentnight Electric blanket on top a Silentnight topper.

I have checked this for you directly with the manufacturer and found that the contour, comfort and deluxe ranges represent mattresses only. As this is a memory foam topper it will not fall into any of the categories.

I have checked this for you and if you use this topper on top of your electric blanket you may not feel the full benefits of the heated blanket. The topper is 2-3cm in depth and therefore may not warm through.
