I bought this for a 81st Birthday present. The lady who it was for was overjoyed, it's a pale lilac/lavender and just the right size for a mantle clock and looks great. It also changes colour depending on what type of light it's under
I bought this recently for my mother who (at 91) needed an easy to read clock for the mantlepiece. She can read it easily and its unfussy design and pale colour looks good in the room.
Having checked I can see this has a quartz movement meaning they are not totally “tickless” because the movement does make a ticking sound, but it is so quiet most cannot hear it.
