All good & used 3 times so far this Spring. Very windy garden so we’ll see how the spike does. Ive given it 3 for assembly because my husband had to use a sledge hammer in the ground something people might struggle with.

Great rotary washing line
We haven't used this one until the better weather arrives but its the same as the one we are replacing and that been going around 8 to 10 years now and we have had no trouble with it at all its looking a little lop sided and we didn't cover it this year so line has gone brittle so we let's get a new one as the old one has been brilliant 😀

Sturdy, robust rotary washing line. Worth paying a little more for quality. Individual lines sensible as no sagging & stretching/rubbing through the holes in the arms. Flat top good for pillows/quilts. Zipped cover a great idea as other ones awkward & difficult to put on.

This is a really sturdy clothes line rotary airer Solid thick metal ground spike that doesn’t really need to be set in concrete as it is so good The 4 arm airer gives plenty of line space for several loads and great quality and easy to set up or take down when empty The additional cover is also nice and well made A quality item and worth the extra expense compared to some other options I considered

Rolls Royce of Washing Lines
I bought a cheaper washing line. It was difficult to use, poorly adjustable, and the line stretched badly. All within 6 months. I took it to the tip as was so frustrating to use. I then bought a Brabantia 60m Lift-O-Matic Washing Line. It is far easier to load with clothes, better constructed (likely durable) and the line tension as well as the height is adjustable. It is the rolls royce of washing lines and I am well pleased.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Brabantia 60m Lift-O-Matic Washing Line with Ground Spike: If they go looser on one side, you just need to pull them back through the holes in the arms and this will even out the lines again. The lines move through all of the arms and so can be easily adjusted.

"It could be that the 50mm hole is a little large.
45mm is recommended for a Lift O Matic 60m rotary, which would give a perfect fit.
It would just mean that the centre pole may move around a little."
