Inspired by traditional comforters, yet designed for modern snoozing, our plush, warming overblanket can be draped on top of bedding or tucked inside a duvet cover. Featuring soft ivory fabric with a satin trim, it's ideal for everyday use. King size with 2 controls. 5 minute fast heat up, 6 temperature settings with auto shut off timer. Excellent winter warmer
Bought this to warm the bed in our static caravan. Would consider it an essential item for the winter. Quick to heat up and lovely on a low setting on a cold night. Would recommend.

Dream need not a real need
I liked the look and feel of this and the dual controls but never took it out of the box as I thought how cold was my bed without it and realised this was a dream need not a real need for me

Fantastic!
I bought this to replace my previous heated underblanket - as I got a memory foam mattress and it affects performance of the mattress (i.e; it melts said mattress). I don't have central heating in my room, but this is super effective, very warm, and large - but I feel a throw would have sufficed providing the warmth I needed. This is effective when in a duvet as well.

Good blanket
It is more fiddly to work than the one it replaced and it doesn’t seem quite as warm except on the hottest setting.

Fantastic - wish I'd bought one years ago!
As the nights get chilly and in spite of central heating and loft insulation that we put in last year we decided on having this electric blanket to add to the cosiness. We really like it. We have put it inside the duvet cover and it works a treat. Set it to max about five minutes before bed (it helpfully defaults to temperature level 6 for 1 hour. When we get into bed we turn it down to 3 or 2 for 9 hours. That's our happy place. It can be set to 1, 3 or 9 depending on your needs. Highly recommended this item.

VERY GOOD OVER BLANKET.
HAD OVER BLANKETS FOR YEARS, THIS WAS THE MOST EXPENSIVE BUT NO STOCK ELSEWARE TO GET BETTER PRICE. MOST MANUFACTURERS ONLY HAVE UNDERBLANKETS OR THROW'S. NEEDS TO BE PUT IN A DUVET CASE OR YOU WILL FEEL THE ELECTRIC CABLES AND COLOUERED WHITE SO YOU WOULD NEED TO WASH IT TO OFTEN..THE TREND IS GOING TOWARDS SELF COLERED REVERSABLE WHICH WILL BE GREAT IN THE FUTURE. I PUT IN CASE DIRECTLY ABOVE ME AND TOP IT WITH A QUILT

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Dreamland Ivory Supersoft Dual Control Overblanket-King: ''We advise using the over blanket over the top of all blankets used on the bed. The blanket will create less heat if something is covering it as the ambient temperature will be higher there causing the blanket to reduce in temperature.
You can put a cover around the blanket however we would recommend that the blanket is the only thing within this cover and is not accompanied by a duvet.''

I thought that the manufacturer said it can be used inside a duvet cover but not you with entire duvet on top of the blanket because it will reduce the heat the blanket produces. They didnt comment on the safety of it with a complete duvet over it , thats the only thing that bothered me. wont be a minute pop it
Hi Ive just read your letter to bluebell asking can the over cover be used under a duvet, in which you replied yes. But reading the right up on the over blanket it says that you cant which I found quite strange.... Im now feeling pretty confused, SO CAN I USE IT ON TOP OF A SHEET WITH A QUILT OVER THE TOP OR CAN I NOT ? From a confused want to be buyer. Thank you.

As the Dreamland Ivory Supersoft Dual Control Overblanket-King is an overblanket and does not fit on to the mattress of the bed, it can be used on any sized bed you like.
