Brilliant.
I had problems going to bed, my feet were always cold.I bought this electric blanket as a test. What a difference it has made. I no longer lie awake trying to warm my feet. With this blanket the whole bed is lovely and warm. It fits well under my sheets and is not uncomfortable in any way. I am sure since using this blanket that I sleep better. Best purchase I have made in a long while. The blanket appears to be good quality so hopefully will last for a good while. I switch it off when I have finished my bedtime read but the bed stays warm for quite a while.

Fairly Good, could be better
I bought this a few weeks ago and have used it every night. It’s been a godsend. My only negative about it is that it’s not quite long enough and where the connection is means I keep lying on it or banging my arm on it. If I pull the blanket up higher so the power connection sits under my pillow, the foot area isn’t covered.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Underblanket - Kingsize: Our electric blankets are not thick, approximately 0.2cm. For extra comfort, the electric blanket can be covered with a protector/thin topper. All Silentnight products are safe to use with an electric blanket however other brands would need to be checked with the manufacturer directly.

The supplier has advised the following for the Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Underblanket - Kingsize:
“ Our electric blankets are intended to fit where your pillows end and run to the bottom half of the mattress. The blanket will also be a few inches short of the edges of your mattress, this is to ensure, once flat on to the mattress, the blanket will stay in place. The sizing of the electric blankets is for safety reasons, it ensures the blanket stays in the correct place and that the wires are not damaged, the blanket needs to be strapped down and remain flat with no creases to ensure no heat spots.
Due to these reasons, we would not recommend using a king-size electric blanket on a super-king size bed. ”

The Silentnight Comfort Control Electric Underblanket - Kingsize 450/0434 can be used upside down and turned around. There is no top or bottom. Always ensure it is flat and strapped down and the controller is not covered by covers or pillows.
