Good quality for the price
Easy to install and good quality with nice finishes for the price only downside is some of the header mechanisms are plastic and metal would be better for longevity.

Hello Esther,
Habitat Wooden White 50mm Slat Venetian Tape Blind - 120cm
Yes, it has 3 tapes.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Tish,
Habitat Wooden Grey Venetian Tape Blind - 120cm
These can be trimmed to size so as long as you have a wall on each side of each bind to fix them this would be fine.
Thanks for using Q and A.
Hi there,
To adjust the angle of the slats on the Habitat Elliott 50mm Wooden Tape Venetian Blind a wand is used, however to open the blind up completely this uses a pull string.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hello There.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Elliott 50mm Wooden Tape Venetian Blind - White:
Sadly, the width of the blinds can not be trimmed.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello Charley,
The supplier has advised the following for the Elliott 50mm Wooden Tape Venetian Blind - Grey:
This is not recommended as there is a high risk of damage to the windows or the frames. This might also invalidate any warranty that is in place for the windows. Also, the fixing screws provided for the product might be too large too.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Jayne,
Thanks for your query about the Elliott 50mm Wooden Tape Venetian Blind - Grey.
As this would make it the exact same width as the blind, yes it would touch the walls of the window recess.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Isobel,
The supplier has advised the following on the Elliott 50mm Wooden Tape Venetian Blind:
“ The gross weight is around 6.21kg”
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Bren
We asked the supplier for you.
They say "The exact position of the cord to allow the blind to drop can vary slightly depending on the installation height.
Take the cord where it drops beneath the blind and move this over to the left hand side while pulling down gently. This will allow the cord to move away from the locking system and the cords can then be released slowly through your fingers. if it doesn't initially release try moving the cord further over to the left while applying a little downward pressure. Do not pull the cord away from the window, it needs to stay the same distance from the blind as when it hangs naturally and just moved over to the left to release the cord lock."
Thanks for using Q & A
Hi there.
It is not recommended to trim the width on the Habitat Elliott 50mm Wooden Tape Venetian Blind.
Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
Hi there
Our supplier confirms you can cut as much of the length off as you want
Thanks for using Q & A
The small print
To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the reach of young children. Cords may become wrapped around a child's neck. Move beds, cots and furniture away from the window so that they are not covering the cords. Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create a loop.
