Good quality item
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I'm very happy with it. I let my brother-in-law install it as he a DIY genius while I can barely change a lightblub. But looking over his shoulder as he did it it didn't look too difficult. In fact, it looked exactly like it did in the excellent video. And we both agreed that everything about it was good quality (fittings etc.) Some people have mentioned that the colour isn't quite as it is in the picture and I think they are right. It is more of a greyish brown, which was ideal for me as that is the colour of my toilet floor. Though it is 95% made of wood (compressed wood?), up close you probably wouldn't mistake it for real wood. But I really like the 'slow close', which works perfectly on both the seat and the lid. Very happy with my purchase.

Colour very different
It was easy enough to install, a little fiddly! The colour is a much darker brown and looks very fake and plasticy, I am planning on replacing it with something else.

Comfortable and Easy to Fit
Fitting was so simple that I was amazed. Quick to do and no issues. It's comfortable to use, the soft close is really nice, and the 'oak' effect is good. I have noticed some odd smells when using it.

With brackets - L442xW372mm.
The brackets will support 80-194mm widths. The front to back adjustment is 56mm. ”

Hello Ms C,
Our supplier has advised that this can tarnish/rust if not looked after. The instructions that come with the product has care instructions to look after the product. The product needs to be regularly cleaned with warm soapy water. The barrel and hinges are a mixture of plastic and chrome.

On the website it says 110-200mm and I need 200mm but when I received the product the dimensions given on the box were 80-194mm which didnt therefore fit
