We recommend a 30 - 40cm shade with this base.

Lovely stands, very good quality, nicely finish
A very nice stand of good quality for a very low cost, the desk and floor lamps look more expensive than they are Ive only marked the quality as four as once screwed together the floor stand looked bent and I had to manipulate it straight.

Really nice wood, is larger than I thought in real life but that's my own miscalculation rather than the product,. looks lovely, but probably needs a larger shade than a standard small one which is what I bought it for - just going to buy a larger shade instead!

I'm totally in love with my lamp base. I actually bought two. As they were 50% off. What's not to love about that. I love Habitat home furnishings. So glad that Sainsbury's bought the brand / range. I also bought their new large bobbin mango wood tray today.

Stunning and great quality
I bought this a few weeks ago and paired it with a linen look shade that I already had and I absolutely love this. The quality is fab though I note one or two reviews mentioned that the actual light fitting wasn't straight, but I had no such problems. I was looking at a similar table lamp which was several times more expensive and honestly this is way better. It has a good weight to it and feels like a quality piece.
