I brought this mattress topper for my adult daughter as she was complaining that she could feel the springs in her mattress. She said her bed is a lot softer and makes a bid difference. So no new mattress required for the time being.!!

A small double mattress is 15cm narrower than a standard double mattress, therefore the Silentnight Luxury Hotel Collection Mattress Topper - Double would overhang on the width making it difficult to secure properly with the elasticated straps and difficult to apply a top fitted sheet.
