Very impressed
This bed frame arrived yesterday and I put it together within an hour. It was very easy to assemble. I was worried as the other review said it was difficult to assemble without pre-drilled holes, but this was only to attach the bed slates, which were on soft wood so it was easy enough with just a screwdriver. I'm extremely pleased with the quality and sturdiness of the frame. I love the design and it looks great as a spare bed in our office for when we have guests stay.

Very disappointing
Impossible to assemble as it’s missing the holes in which the screws need to be inserted. Really poor

It’s very attractive looking and went together easily. It’s a spare bed so not used yet .. and we bought without mattresses from you so I guess the comfort mainly comes from those!

I can advise that the trundle bed can be slept on at floor level or with the legs folded out to raise it to the level of the main bed.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Chiltern Trundle Day Bed - Oak: ''This CAT number does not come with a mattress.
Therefore, the height will depend on the depth of mattress they have or purchase.
The height to the top of the slats is 375mm.''

I can advise that the top mattress can be however deep you like, however the trundle mattress cannot be more than 15cm deep.

Habitat Chiltern Trundle Day Bed - Oak: Space underbed when trundle is not there is 27.5cm.
We couldn't confirm the space with the Trundle underneath, as we do not know the depth of the mattress you plan to use

These are standard single mattress, they aren't included as you've realised. 15cm is the deepest the one on the trundle can be.

The main bed's width is 99cm and the pull-out bed's width is 90cm. With the trundle bed full out, the combined width of both would be about 189cm.

Habitat Chiltern Trundle Day Bed - Oak:
The two bed sections are not attached together. The trundle bed is designed to roll out from underneath the main bed, allowing it to be used as a separate single bed. You can place them side by side or separate them.
