Good quality materials and finish with easy tilt mechanism. Lovely colours in pale blue and cream, giving a retro beach vibe. Ideal for sandy beach or a soft grass area. Only constructive comment, the spike isn't tough enough, needs soft ground or a base.
I bought this as it looked nice on the webpage, but you can never really tell until you see it in the flesh. Thankfully, it looks even better and I’m pretty pleased with this purchase.
The parasol arrived with half the pole missing. I tried the AI agent. I interacted with someone (chat bot?) to try to resolve it but there was no process for my issue being properly understood and it was clear they hadn’t grasped the problem and just said “it will arrive by 9PM” a few times. It didn’t arrive, so I ended up ordering a second one, keeping the first half-parasol as a spare. Seems a good enough product but the episode cost me twice what I expected to pay in order to get a serviceable product. Not good.
I bought this because of the price, mainly, and the old adage of you get what you pay for proves true in this case. It is cheerful, but pretty cheaply made. The parasol itself does not have a wide circumference, so I don't find the actual sun protection is that great, unless you are right under it - which is not practical if you are sitting round a table. It's OK for what I paid .
Really pleased with this parasol, I love the blue stripes and I like that it's easy to store as the pole is in 2 parts. It's really light weight and easy to put up and down.
