Great unit but badly packed
Badly packed. Each part had bad marks on it. Just as well a cube unit as had to try and build it with the worst bit inside.

This had lots of scratches and if it wasn't the middle unit of 3 and largely hidden, it would have instantly gone back.

Very sturdy and useful unit
This is a very sturdy item and is perfect for the area I wanted to put it, which was in my hallway replacing an ancient shoe store unit. It was relatively easy to put together on my own even though I did miss one step and had to retrace to sort it out. I am however overall pleased with the unit and would recommend it.

The external sides and top and bottom shelves of the Habitat Squares Plus 4 Cube Storage Unit - Black are all full sized panels therefore it would not be possible to just have one cube on the top to give an L shaped unit.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Squares Plus 4 Cube Storage Unit - White: Each cube can hold up to 7kg evenly distributed so will be able to hold a good amount of books.

Definitely not gloss more of a matt but with a very slight sheen. Not wood grain.

Our supplier has advised: we do not include any wall fixings with the unit other than the anti-topple brackets but if you are good at DIY it would be possible by buying and fitting appropriate hardware.

Philips slotted screwdriver
Philips crosshead screwdriver
Small hammer
To affix overbalance kit to the wall, you will also require a drill.
