The Jay-Be Benchmark S5 mattress features innovative sustainable sleep technologies. Its deep Sprung core is topped with Micro Pocket springs for adaptable posture support throughout the night. These springs are cushioned with a deep supportive layer of Rebound e-Fibre and super soft Advance e-Fibre. The Micro Pocket Springs, are one of the most advanced pocket spring technologies available today; sonic welded fabric pockets remove the need for glue, making them easier to recycle at end of life.
Sustainably made in the UK. 100% Foam Free, free from harmful chemical emissions. Breathable comfort layers to reduce moisture.
For added convenience, the mattress is vacuum packed and rolled, and comes with a five-year manufacturer's guarantee for peace of mind.

A good buy
Comfortable and airy. Lightweight enough to turn regularly, but, NB, it's made with one sleeping surface only; less padded reverse always rests against the bed slats. Glad to have made Eco choice and extremely relieved no chemical odours when it was unpacked.

Disappointment
I am not happy with it. After 4 weeks I can say it is very uncomfortable mattress, I can feel the springs through the side. I am about 65 kg and there is a hollow already. Very poor quality.

Lovely mattress
I got this mattress a month ago and have never been so comfortable sleeping and I have started a new job that really messes up my back, but this mattress helps me sooo much!!!!

Disappointed
A little disappointed with this. The mattress feels incredibly soft and you can feel the springs through the side. Not at all comfortable. Considering replacement under the 100day scheme. A real shame as I loved the eco friendly aspect

Miss Happy sleeper!
The mattress was delivered on time and easy to unpack. We have now had it a few weeks and it has improved my sleep pattern. I would recommend this mattress. We looked for one where there was a guarantee regarding being able to send back if after a set time we were unhappy with the product.

Hi there
Our supplier says "Adjustable beds are always 200cm in length and sometimes longer. Our mattresses are not long enough to fit the adjustable bed frames.
They are also not designed for this type of use and may well wear far more quickly than a mattress that is designed for this specific purpose"

I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows.
"Please be aware that this mattress does not contain memory foam.
Memory foam is not a sustainable material and as such we do not use this material in any of our products.
The material which we do use in some of the Benchmark models, but not the S5, is called Memory e-Fibre. This is a sustainable polyester material laid in a vertical manner to give a different experience of comfort from a standard filling".

Hello Jay this is a standard mattress so should be fine for a 12 year old and our suppliers advise that this is anti allergy.
