would have given it a 5 star but the board does wobble when ironing
Needed to replace my old ironing board due to it finally breaking after many years service, this one was on offer, and had a number of good reviews, I am very disappointed with it, It is very thin and light, it slips all over the floor, ( laminate & wood) I now have to use on a rug, the legs are not aligned correctly so it is off balance, the cover is so thin and cheap, I will need to buy another, so adding to the price! It only has a handle on the left side to put the board up and down, as I'm right handed it is very difficult to open and close, it can easily crash shut and end up on the floor! The legs at front have a huge gap, meaning when ironing sheets etc the items easily catch between the legs risking ripping, Such poor quality it's not going to last long, unlike my old one which gave many years service was safe and strong. My view is do not waste your money on this cheap ironing board
I was a bit dubious of a black ironing board cover with ‘ special’ toppings but wow was is surprised. Every time I iron it is quicker and easier than my old board. Its lightweight construction is easy to lift yet very stable. I would FULLY recommend.
