Really beautiful coffee table, looks far more expensive than it was (especially in the sale) and just as good as high-end versions. Couldn't be happier with the quality and also the service from the Argos delivery which was absolutely superb.

I think it’s oak. Excellent quality. I like ercol furniture , this coffee table is like that brand but far more affordable.
It looks and feels like real wood and it has a light oak finish. That’s all I can tell you

Yes, there are two metal bars on the underside my table too. The table is not solid wood as advertised. They run width ways at each end, and I assume they are there to reinforce the curved ends of the table. They are not visible and hidden from sight - unless you are lying down on the floor.

“ Clean with a damp cloth and wipe up any spillages immediately. This isn't able to be re treated so after use and wearing of the treatment a new one may be needed. More detailed cleaning information is noted in the instruction manual. ”
