Our soft grey Brooklyn mid sleeper is made from solid pine, with chunky top rails and a sturdy frame. We're always saying how mid sleepers are great for small rooms, letting you make the most of the floor underneath, so with this one we've included a pull-out desk that's been perfectly tailored to sit in that space! Simply add a chair to create a great little work area.

Easy to build and fantastic bed
Great bed, no damage which with flat pack stuff lately seems to be expected, but not this time. It was far easier to put together than the instructions suggested. I had the bed together in about 2 hours and about another hour for the desk part of it.

Brilliant!
My 11yr old Son absolutely loves this Bed! He now believes he's Mr Independent and has set up his Computer (and even robbed my Salt Lamp) to adorn the Desk. From a DIY stand point, whilst it's (understandably) a big job, the instructions are simple to follow and all the necessary accoutrements are provided including a few Spares. Once erected its a solid bed with no issues concerning safety. Would definitely recommend.

I managed to put this together in 3 hours but I recommend you use an electric screwdriver as there’s a lot of screws. Double check you’re using the correct screws as a few of them look similar. Overall my son loves his new ‘big boy’ bed it looks great. It’ll last him many years to come as it’s super sturdy

Perfect height
Bought this for my 6 year old nephew, it's a great height off the floor without being too high for him. The desk is a great addition and being able to move it out of the way is perfect for a small room.

Lovely bed
I bought this bed for my 10 year old daughter. It looks really nice. She loves it and the underneath she has storage and has made a camp to sit in. Easy to ensemble, clear easy instructions to follow. Only slight negative is it's a bit creaky.

The maximum mattress thickness is 19.5cm so, yes, you could use an 18cm mattress on this.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Brooklyn Mid Sleeper with Desk - Grey: Yes, it´s easy to dismantle the Brooklyn mid sleeper and assemble it again. No glue is used anywhere. Assembled with M6 bolts and screws.
