Good mattress protector, but only covers the top of the mattress, with tape going over the corners. Rather disappointed that the sides of the mattress are not protected, but was reasonably priced.

Mattress protector
Good quality mattress protector, fits the bed well. Not entirely sure why its called 'Bounce-back' as I thought it would be quite a thick layer. It's not thin, but I wouldn't say it has any bounce back to it.

I, am happy I bought this Silentnight Bounceback Mattress Protector. This Mattress Protector on it's own, is not enough. It's is not thick enough to provide any real support, or waterproof for any significant spills, so it's mostly about preventing stains or sweat. I bought it knowing this before hand for my thick hybrid Mattress. I actually use a multi-layered approach for my Mattress Protection, in bed alone I like it firmer, so I use bottom to top: semi-Waterproof half cotton, then Flaxby (original version) with elasticated straps, then this one with elasticated straps on-top. This reduces noise from the bottom sheet to zero. I wash this Silentnight on 40c for 45min, and Tumble on Synthetics / Cool.

I can confirm that all mattress protectors are thin as this is just a protector for the mattress. If you are looking for something with a bit more substance and more comfort I would advise to look into purchasing a mattress topper instead.
