Perfect for both summer and winter!
I bought the duvet about half a month ago for next-day delivery, after purchasing a much thinner duvet (which I found too light). The Duvet arrived early the next day and saved me from sleepless nights moving forward. This duvet has been much more comfortable and although in the future I would go for something with a little more weight, this one strikes the perfect balance between Summer nights and Winter nights.

If you have a small double bed, taking a standard small double mattress (usually about 120cm wide rather than 135cm wide), this may be a little too large with the next size down, the single, being too small. However, this also depends on personal preference as some people like to get a duvet that's a slightly larger size, e.g. a king size on a double as they like having a bigger overhang on the sides of the bed. Of course, the height of the bed above the floor and the depth of your mattress would allow for more or less room to be able to do that. This is 200cm wide so, it'd hang down by about 35 - 40cm each side.
