Poor Quality Control on Parts
I carefully opened the box and checked all the parts when this arrived, labelling them all with post-it notes (there are a lot of parts) and realised that there was only 3 of part 5, when there should have been 4. Customer Support were really helpful and sent out the new part within a few days. However, when it arrived it was chipped. Having had the parts all over the floor for over a week, I decided to start putting it together, when I realised that part 6 did not have the "finished front edge" as described in the instructions, and after checking it carefully, I realised I would need to order another part 6, hopefully one that was correct this time. However, it turns out that it is a 28 day wait for the new part. So I will have 6 weeks with the parts all over my floor, stacked up with my post-it notes on them. I can only hope that I get the correct parts at the end. My view is that, even if this turns out to be nice once I can finally put it together, the Quality Control is poor, and you need to be prepared for a long wait, both for the original delivery, and for ordering the spare parts that are missing. This would 100% put me off buying this again, and I am wishing I had never bothered. What a shame. Come on, Habitat, pull your socks up!

Great quality
This unit looks really good & compliments the living room do much. Was relatively easy to build with no issues.

Looks good
Although the final result when put together is good I had to get a tradespeople to put it together adding 60£ to the cost. The doors as people have previously noted were difficult to put together.

Great Unit deserves better Packaging
The good points Nice finish, looks good Ample storage Reasonable price Not so good points The plastic packaging on the Gloss doors was torn and did not cover the full doors I can see the building of the unit may prove a challenge

Looks great but the doors are too heavy
This unit looks great but as covered in many other reviews it is a real pain to build. If you have basic experience of building furniture items then this will be easy enough, although the instructions are not up to IKEA standards. The only real issue is that the 3 doors are very heavy, it is extremely difficult to get them to line up and even when you do then because of their weight they will drop. I am very happy with this unit but probably because I have little need to open the doors!!

Nice but short
It’s long but not tall ver short actually

Hardest flat pack and poor quality
We’ve built a lot of goat packs recently and this is one of the hardest to follow. The end result isn’t to the standard I would expect from habitat. The front doors don’t seem to fit properly whatever you do with them and don’t line up or cover the gaps symmetrically. Wouldn’t recommend

Hello there,
I have spoken to our supplier who has advised as follows.
Yes, remotes can work through doors although the range is reduced. Other options are to use a magic eye or a dongles that fits on to the HDMI cables, all can be found using online searches. It is common now to hide TV controllers away out of site now so there is equipment to enable remotes to continue to work when they cannot be accessed through an app on the TV.
Thank you for using Q and A.
Hi Justine,
Yes, the sides are flat.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Monty,
This is designed to be used with all three doors installed, so would be unable to confirm how this would look without one.
Thanks for using Q&A!
