The Habitat Jessie Ladder Shelf provides generous storage and display space for books, photos and favourite items without taking up much floor space. Its wide leaning design fits nicely in living rooms, bedrooms or home office corners. The walnut veneer finish highlights natural wood tones, while solid oak uprights keep it stable and strong. Five fixed shelves provide plenty of room to organise paperbacks, magazines, plants and decorative bits. The lacquered finish protects the wood and wipes clean when dust settles.
The shelves are fixed in place, so there's no fiddling about with adjustments, everything's ready to load once it's up. Wall fixings are included, and you'll want to use them, this one's over 60cm high, so securing it prevents any tipping risk, that's really important if you've got kids or pets around. Simple self-assembly required, all the bits and fixings come with it. There's a one-year guarantee included for reassurance. The clean lines and warm walnut tone work with most room styles, whether that's modern or traditional.

I've had to wait a couple of months
I've had to wait a couple of months . but i bought this after it became available again. It was well worth the wait, it looks fantastic and was easy to assemble. It really makes my storage look trendy and neat.

Beautiful furniture
I've owned this for 3 weeks now, and it's a gorgeous piece of furniture. Looks great in person, and is very sturdy and straightforward to put together; tip is to retighten everything once you've put it fully together. It is not as cheap as some other brands, but is significantly better quality (it is rather weighty and the finish is very nice). My only slight nit is that the label which is attached to one of the shelves is extremely sticky and hard to get off; I eventually used some label remover which did the job.

Good looking shelves!
Bought for my living room… good looking set of shelves, relatively easy to assemble (used double sided Velcro tape to secure to the wall, worked great!). Worth the price

Decent Unit
Seems quite sturdy, it does appear to be solid wood rather than 'effect' as described (albeit possibly not walnut specifically!). Just to note that it doesn't come with any fixings to secure to the wall, you need to purchase these elsewhere and, per my unit at least, it is substantially lighter than the photographs, more tan than brown. You could probably oil or varnish it to make it closer to the photos however if you wanted.

I am so delighted with these shelving units, especially as I'd bought 5 of them for my living room. They are made of wood, are really good quality and great value. They can be a bit fiddly when erecting them but otherwise they are fantastic. Highly recommended.

Great value, solid piece of furnture
This was much better than expected and really very good value for money (especially with a 30% discount). It arrived quickly - I think the next day - and was very easy to assemble. I think it took me about 10 minutes, and I'm no DIYer! My only slight complaint was that the wood was a little lighter than I had imagined, but this was soon fixed with a quick coat of wood stain.
