Made in Italy from pine wood, the Ontario matt black 80x60cm picture frame is a clean-lined, contemporary design that can be hung portrait or landscape. The 2cm width frame has a matt finish and is available in a variety of sizes and finishes.

Perfect frame for what I needed
After purchasing a non standard print I bought a made to measure mount based around this frames measurements. After reading reviews on the glass being smashed on these I was hesitant when collecting it from store but it was all good. It’s a classic simple frame and works perfectly for the print I’ve put in it.

Good but can't accommodate a mount
The frame looks good and high quality, as you'd expect from Habitat. Sometimes tall frames get wobbly/unsquared... Not this one. The main issue though is that if you add a mount (standard thickness) the clips at the back can't close anymore to keep the back of the frame in place. I'll have to find a way to tighten the frame differently. Also worth noting there's only one hanging thingy per side, which might be an issue for such a big frame, depending on how you're planning to attach it to the wall

Mine was Oak frames, acrylic clear front. Not glass.
The box warns of glass though. Some are glass apparently. Different batches?
Not a simple answer Im afraid, I have bought them twice, the first one was glass, the second acrylic. So I guess they either changed the design or have more than one supplier.

The Ontario Black Wooden Picture Frame - 24x31" is suitable for photos of size: 60 X 80cm/24 X 32inch.
Generally there are two types of frame that can be used for shirts or garments. The first can be any general type of frame or moulding with a face width of about 30mm plus and combined with a shallow box fixed to the back of the frame, this allows depth for the shirt.
Secondly instead of a box fitted to the back of the frame, a deeper frame type can be used which may look aesthetically better. On either option it’s vitally important that the shirt should have enough room in the frame and not touch or even be pressed against the glass as moisture could build up in the frame and effect the garment.

This has a “regular square” fixing attached to the MDF backing board. The frame can be hung with nails or something like “blitz plus hard wall hooks”. It’d depend on the type of walling you have as to the best type of fixings needed.
