Bought to replace old, battered kitchen clock. Popped the battery in, set the time and hung on wall. Simplicity itself. A 'gentle' shade of yellow, it doesn't shout at you and adds a bit of life to my plain wall. Both the hands and the numbers are easy to read, even without my glasses, even from the far end of the kitchen.
I was looking for a bright yellow clock and was so pleased to find exactly what I was after AND at a good price. One thing- I didn't realise the cover was made of glass, which was a pain as I was taking this on a plane, but I guess most people won't be doing that, hey? It's a lovely pop of colour in my kitchen and I might even get the green one too for my lounge. I've only owned it a couple of weeks so can't speak for its longevity but so far, so good.
Bought this to replace another model that used a 'Radio signal' to set the time but was absolutely useless. This Jones clock is a traditional clock that is set manually and also very easy to read when mounted high up on a wall. The Tick is inaudible.
We bought this about 6 months ago. It works great and has a lovely clear face and the frame colour is a nice buttery matt yellow. It does have an audible ‘tick’.
