Neat and comfortable
It’s a good neat size for my room, it’s low and easy to switch to a bed, perfect for what I need.

Very Comfy & Stylish Sofa
I bought this sofa recently after reading the reviews and carefully measuring the dimensions for fit. It is a very comfy sofa (I can't review the bed as I haven't had visitors yet.) It is very stylish and easy to switch between sofa and bed mode. The cream option is a very nice ivory shade. The Sofa was delivered flat packed in a huge box and the legs were neatly tucked away in a zippy compartment underneath. As other reviewers have noted, the platform for the bed protrudes several inches from the base at the back of the sofa making it impossible to push the sofa against a wall (there is about a six inch gap between the top of the sofa and the wall) however, I am very happy with my purchase and would happily recommend with this caveat.

Yes, there is a piece of wood in the middle when it's folded out as a bed. It's part of the structure of the bed and, among other things, the foam of the seat and the back cushions would squeeze out without it being there. (The stuffing inside is solid foam and fibre).
