Great lamp and good customer service
This was a replacement for a damaged previous purchase which was resolved by customer services. Lamp was perfect and the delivery charge was refunded. I swapped the shade for a different one, also from Habitat, to make it more colourful and unique. Very happy in the end.

Classy looking lamp base
Really pleased with the base of this lamp, the colour is darker than off white, more cream which is what I wanted & I like the finish which is matt & textured. It is also taller than most lamps which is what was looking for. I would have preferred to have the base & shade available separately as a black shade was not suitable for our room so I've had to buy another shade. I also felt that the shade was a bit small for the base when I tried it for size so I have bought a larger shade

Yes, the surface is rough textured like it is on the white base. The shade should sit correctly but, if it is not doing so, they advise to turn it round which should correct it.
