Very comfortable blanket & warmed up quick.
Bought this on Friday 15/05/2026. It's very comfortable & warmed up quick, It's a single as husband doesn't like electric blankets so all for me. The elastic straps fit around the double bed easily. The electric cable plug is on the left looking up from bottom of bed & I sleep on the right so I had to put the cable round back of mattress to plug it in, which means the control panel is under my pillow. I turned the blanket over but the material was not as cosy. Why can't the plug be universal and be in the top middle to suit everyone?

I have a double. It is great. So I have bought the single now that the old single has conked out. The reasons why I think its one of the best ones for me...... Comfortable, thick underblanket, which has a washable zipped outer layer. 10 levels of heat, separately for feet and body. I find 1 is enough for overnight for the main blanket but I like 3 for my feet. Very personal. You can put it on high to heat up ready for bed. The top heat is 10, and it will only stay on for an hour (safety if I forget and go disco'ing 😉 😆😂). It only takes about 10 mins to heat up. Once in bed you can alter body and foot temp to suit yourself. It has a timer for 1hr, 5hrs, and 8 hrs. Again for comfort and safety. It has large elastics that hold it securely in place. I like the skirt on other blankets, but this works just as well. I am very careful with my energy bills, but I find they use very little electricity. And to me, the warm and vomfort that brings is well worth the price it costs. Finally. I've had an electric blanket from being a child, 60 years ago. No, not the same one🙄, they are faaar more modern now. Safer, more controllable, more comfortable. Only drawback, which seems to be the same on all blankets, is that the blanket socket is at the top near the shoulder. It looks like a problem, but I have never found it to bother me. Neither has my husband, or other users 😉😂 . Happy heating! This IS the one! Unless..... someone can prove otherwise.

Excellent Electric Blanket and Very Good Value
I bought this single electric blanket a month ago and it is very comfortable, fits the bed nicely and is very easy to use. It has 9 separate settings for body and foot temperature and 4 settings for the timer. The elastic straps make sure the blanket stays in the same place regardless of my movement whilst asleep. The only criticism is that in my bedroom the controller is on the wrong side for me and I have had to fix it so I can alter the settings more easily. Not really a problem however. Excellent value and a good prurchase.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Slumberdown Perfectly Warm Luxury Electric Blanket - Single.
When purchasing a single blanket, it should include only one controller unit and one plug. Only one controller unit can be connected to the blanket and then plugged into the wall.
If you have received an extra controller and plug in error, you are welcome to keep them in case your original controller unit becomes damaged in the future.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Slumberdown Perfectly Warm Luxury Electric Blanket - Single: The blanket can be used with a smart plug. However, the controller will automatically come on at the highest heat setting and timer so they would still need to manually use the controller to adjust to there preferred settings.
We also like to remind customers this is an electrical appliance and the blanket should not be turned on when no one is home to supervise the product. They must take extra care to unplug their smart plug before going on holiday and never turn it on via an app before they have arrived at home.

The photo that shows 2 controls is for a king size electric blanket, the listing you are enquiring about is for a single bed, If you are purchasing for a king size bed then it will come with 2 controls.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Slumberdown Perfectly Warm Luxury Electric Blanket - Single: The current standard recommendation is you use the blanket to pre-heat your bed and turn off once you get in.
This is a caution warning to avoid user falling asleep while the banket is still on the highest heat setting.
You can still use a heated blanket while you’re in bed, the warning message is there to make you aware that the blanket should be switched off or lowered to the lowest heat setting before you drift off to sleep.
