Hi Sam, the Silentnight Waterproof Mattress Protector can be washed at approximately. 40 degree and then Tumbledried on either the Iron Dried setting or on The Cupboard dry setting, which is what I use for all my clothing needs. This seems to work well for me. Also May I suggest that I have purchased a second Mattress protector which I alternative when required. Hope this is helpful

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Waterproof Mattress Protector - Kingsize: ''We can confirm that the Silentnight Electric Blanket can be used with Silentnight Waterproof mattress protectors, with the protector closest to the mattress (blanket on top of the protector).
If the protector is not branded Silentnight, we would recommend contacting the manufacturers of the protector you have as we have not tested our blankets with any other branded items.
I’m afraid Electric Blankets are not recommended to be used if bed wetting is a risk, or drinks/liquids are at risk of spilling.''
