exceptional knife
I was fed up with my knives, never sharp even after sharpening. I bought this one and it is exceptional, so much so that I went onto buy the complete knife set (which conveniently does not include this single knife). It is like cutting butter, very very smooth and easy. The sharpener is part of the storage, and the knife is still sharp, I really hope this sharpener keeps the knife in top condition.

very good knife, very sharp good test if it cuts tomatoes, and it does very well, would have liked it if they had a meat cleaver, that's my normal go2 chopping knife good all the same.

Sharp and stays sharp
Have had this a few weeks and it works well. The handle is hollow so it doesn't feel as solid as some other chefs knives, but it is certainly sharp. Good for transporting too in the sharpening case.

Hi Lee, yes we can confirm that you are able to carve meat with the Tefal everysharp chef knife. We would recommend to use a meat fork to help with carving.

As stated already, the Tefal Eversharp Knife Sharpener does include a knife but it can be used to sharpen other knives as well, as long as they do not have serrated edges (bread knives). Also not suitable for sharpening scissors either.
