Useful
Purchased these due to the fact that they have lids and can be used in the oven/microwave. Although they have many uses, they are expensive considering how long Pyrex have been manufacturing.

Quite expensive but certainly value for money. I use it for roasting, once it's cool I snap on the lid and bung it into the fridge It's all very convenient. The lids feel sturdy, robust and are premium quality. The hinges snap onto the glass containers satisfactorily.

“ With regards to the 7-piece cook and go set please note the glass base of the product is suitable for microwave use, the lids can be used in the microwave, but they must NOT be sealed / clipped to the base just placed loosely on it. ”

Pyrex glassware can be used in a microwave but care needs to be taken if the glassware is too cold initially i.e. if taken from a fridge or freezer. In these circumstances it is possible for the glassware to shatter due to potentially differing expansion rates throughout the dish.
Always ensure the dish is at room temperature before microwaving and there should not be a problem.
