Habitat once again brings you the Scoop chair. Lovingly reproduced by British designer, David Hutcheson. David's approach is to create something that is eye-catchingly simple. And for him, tactile, authentic materials and the intended function are the epitome of good design. Scoop was originally launched in the 1970's. And now, like then, its modernist form and plush corded upholstery make it an instant hit. Uber comfortable, use it as an accent chair, or use 2 as a modular sofa.

70s style
Looks great in the living room. Firm cushioning, soft cord and definitely the perfect seat to lounge in or curl up with a book. Worth noting that it's low to the ground and if you prefer sitting upright, perhaps rethink. Looks and feels super premium for the price though.

How retro! Love it!
Love it! I remember these first time round and it sure brings back those carefree days of lolling around on beanbags and scoop chairs. Looks great, love sitting on it. Sadly I'm not as bendy as I used to be, so I do use a cushion to support my back... But wouldn't swap it for anything!

New and improved
We had one of these chairs when I was a kid and used to love sliding down it - luckily the design has improved since then and the cushion is attached. Fab looking and very comfortable, so glad I have one as an adult now!

The fabric and color are nice, but the seat is not very comfortable. It is not possible to sit without putting a pillow behind the back.

A statement chair that is so comfortable and high quality. Love the fabric. Only thing to note is that when it’s delivered the box is a little difficult to get through the front door, but once unboxed it’s easy to manoeuvre in.

Thanks for your query about the 60 Scoop Fabric Chair - Green.
No, we don’t do any corner section/unit to make this an L-shape. It may be possible to put two together at an angle, though you’d need to consider to allow for leg room for the two users on each chair and there’d be a roughly squarish bit of open space between the two seats.
One thing you could do is to perhaps put something between them, e.g. a coffee table, side table or similar, that would visually create the L-shaped focal point feature that you’re seeking. One of a square sort of shape would fill the gap better but it’d be down to your own personal taste as to what would look best. We cannot guarantee an exact size match but a table that’s about the same as the length of the sides of the chairs (103cm) would probably look OK.
