Nice and firm
I spent ages procrastinating about which mattress to get and finally got so fed up I thought I'd just take a chance with this. It was much cheaper than the ones I'd tried out in Dreams, but the reviews were good and it was a quick delivery so I gave it a go. At first I was worried it was a bit too firm and the first nights sleep was a bit disruptive as I was so used to my old mattress which had formed into two valleys and a hill in the middle. My husband took to it straight away and after a few nights I now find it very comfortable and it's improved both our sleep.

I got this a couple of weeks ago, it replaced a mattress that was twice the price (couldn’t justify paying that much again) decided on this one in super king size & its the best decision I made. Sleep is so much better.

Very impressed
It’s only been 2 weeks but I shall be keeping this mattress. I weigh around 120kg with a dad bod/muscular build. I was a bit apprehensive about this mattress as you have to really pay to get quality and higher spring count, in my opinion though this mattress punches above its weight for the price. With the 20% before Valentine’s Day offer I got a bargain.

Mattresses can be used with slatted or divan bases, as long as it’s sturdy and well ventilated to promote airflow. With slatted bed frames the slat widths should be 10cm and the gap between them no more than 7.5 cm.

The supplier has advised the Silentnight 1000 Pocket Luxury Superking Mattress does not contain any memory foam. It does contain the Eco Comfort Fibre layer within the mattress. Eco Comfort Fibres create a breathable layer that stops you from overheating so you can enjoy a fresher night's sleep.

I have tried both and this mattress is a lot cooler. The Emma mattress was far too soft for me and caused back problems. This Silentnight mattress was a lot firmer with very little give and caused me hip and knee problems as well as back problems and I had to send it back. The springs also came out the side.
