Great table/desk.
I bought this table to serve as a desk in my daughter's room. It is sturdy, very heavy ( as oak should be), looks great and is perfect for our needs. Delivery was exactly when chosen and delivery men were kind and polite. Nothing was missing, instruction is easy to use and I have put it into one piece by myself. Can recommend without any doubts to anyone who loves oak furniture. You won't be disappointed.

WAS a fab, value for money item BUT....
This dressing table, which I bought as a desk, looked perfect. The wood was lovely quality, it was well made and looked much more expensive than it was. I loved it but sadly had to return it. Why? The drawers, which are about 2 inches deep are pointless. Ok, having overlooked the fact they they only go half way to the depth of the desk and are smaller than expected, I couldn't get past the fact that you cannot put anything in them which is deeper than a finger's width. There are two solid plastic hooks screwed on the underside of the table top which prevent the drawers from falling out. These also prevent you from putting things in the drawer because they either stop the drawer from then closing or get trapped behind the hooks which stop the drawer from opening. You can't put a pack of pencils in the drawer only loose ones. As a dressing table, even a lipstick gets caught, unless it's loose an allowed to roll freely. I thought about taking the hooks off but because the table top and bottom is all boxed in, I couldn't get in their to unscrew them off. What a shame. Aside from that a beautiful piece of furniture.
