Criss-cross cool. Go for a contemporary look with the Habitat Zander collection. We love the textured fronts. The sleek, striking style offers something a little different. This 2-door sideboard, with its white wave finish and contrasting oak-effect legs, makes a quirky, stand-out piece. It has an adjustable shelf inside, to store books and games. Each cupboard features push-to-open doors for a flush, handle-less look. Place a green plant on top to add a fresh flash of colour.

Stunning!
Amazing both in terms of build quality and ascetics. It’s very easy in the eye and looks like an expensive piece of furniture.

Noce unit but check before building
Disappointed there is a fault on the top. I didnt realise until i had put ot all together.

Lovely once assembled which is the tricky bit!
Very nice sideboard quite sturdy. There are some very fuddly bits when putting it together and the hinges are the strangest i have ever had to assemble.

Trendy Unit
Lovely looking unit but took a while to put together with all the right tools.

A little bit different
Bought to serve as a toy cupboard and it fits the bill with adjustable shelves and no handle doors. As a seasoned diyer the assembly instructions leave much to be desired but the two hour session was worth it. Be aware that longer screws fit in all the options so count the required number for that section. The finished product looks good but the door shut lines are not equal owing to the shape of the carcass. At the offer price we paid you can’t get better value.

Great sideboard - excellent value for money
I bought this last month for my hall to replace an oak sideboard that I’d moved to my lounge. It was easy to assemble and looks lovely- all my visitors have commented on it - especially the textured finish on the doors.

Disappointed
Disappointed with the quality - sides don’t fit correctly and the top has imperfections in the finish!

Hello Nancy,
The supplier has advised the following for the Zander Textured Large Sideboard -White/Oak Effect:

The base and legs are attached together first, so then it becomes a panel you fix to the unit with screws.

Thanks for using Q & A
Hi there the Zander range has been designed to have a texture finish rather than either matte or gloss finish, as the style is relying on the texture of the wood to create a statement piece.

Hi Carol,
Thanks for your query about the Argos Home Zander Textured Large Sideboard -White/Oak Effect.
Having checked, it could be painted but, painting it would invalidate the guarantee as it would no longer then be as it was when sold. Many paints also require the surface to be sanded or stripped first. Also, we could not guarantee that any paint or treatment you used wouldn't affect the existing finish, glues etc.
I suppose you could but I think it would spoil it
