The Habitat Roma Chairbed gives you a comfy spot to sit during the day, then transforms into a single bed when you've got someone staying over. It's a smart solution for smaller spaces where you need flexibility. The plump foam cushions hold their shape nicely and feel welcoming whether you're reading, watching TV, or settling in for the night. The grey fabric works with most room colours and styles. Wooden feet lift it off the floor, making it easier to keep underneath clean.
The fixed seat has foam fibre wrap filling that provides support and comfort. A long back cushion with button detail gives it a modern look while keeping things practical. Great value, slightly compromised sofa chair 4.5*
good value for money particularly currently (April 2026) with 20% off. Seems very similar to the more expensive John Lewis version which has a full height back cushion and as a result is far more comfortable as a chair and now wish I had spent the extra money on. Unfortunately it doesn't seem possible to try the Habitat chair in a showroom, but still a strong 4.5 star product given the value for money proposiion.

Bought this as a spare spare bed for Xmas. It arrived quickly, delivery guy carried it upstairs for me. Unboxing and putting together was easy. Chair folds easily and is comfortable as both bed and chair.

Roma fabric chair bed
Bought as a put up bed for visitors. Looks great as chair and easily put together. Not used as bed yet but feel sure will be fine.

As a couch, armchair amazing, as a bed a bit hard.
Looks really good. Great addition. As a couch is not bad at all but as a bed more than 2 nights is a bit hard. A topper helps to the addition and guest are happy and comfortable. Quality of the product, delivery and all very good.

It is a quite firm fold away bed but quite comfy for a couple of nights, but use a mattress topper otherwise you can feel the chair fabric through the sheet. If you want a bed for more than a few nights at a time, get an actual bed. It would be cheaper. The whole point of these is that they fold away. Who ever wrote that a fold away bed would be good for regular use is an idiot.
