The Habitat Stars High Sleeper gives your child a place to sleep, play and store things in one bed-sized footprint, ideal for smaller rooms. Its sturdy solid wood frame with flat ladder rungs makes climbing safe and comfortable. Underneath, there's ample storage for a desk and wardrobe, providing space for homework, clothes and toys without extra floor space. The ladder can be positioned at either end to suit your room. Chunky cut-out stars and bevelled edges add character, while the white painted finish brightens the bedroom.
The bed must be attached to a wall for stability, important for safety with raised beds. Flat ladder rungs are foot-friendly and easier to climb than round ones. Suitable for children aged 6 and over, with a maximum user weight of 120kg. The mattress isn't included, but for safety, ensure it's no deeper than 16cm so the safety rail works properly. The rail sits 32cm high to help prevent falls during sleep. Assembly takes two people and includes wooden slats and wall-mounting brackets. There's 139.6cm of headroom underneath, providing plenty of space for play and storage.

Great child bed!
Not too difficult to assemble, great for saving space, need a bit of drilling to fix against the wall. My daughter loves it.

Great bed, easy to put up. Clear instructions. I went for this one over the basic one as it held a bit more weight. It's fit perfectly in my L shaped box room.

Cute little bed
My daughter absolutely loves this bed, it's not too big - which is great as her room is tiny so it's great for small bedrooms. I did read previous reviews about it creaking - once my lovely friend Mike who built this for my daughter used the brackets to attach it to the wall it really has helped to almost eliminate the noise.

Looks great but very noisy
My daughter loves this bed. I bought habitat thinking oh would be superior quality to others but it’s very very noisy, the ladder creaks all the time and the bed all creaks a lot, very disappointed even though it looks great

Any standard UK single sized mattress measuring W90, L190 will be suitable so long as the top bunk mattress does not exceed the maximum depth of 16cms recommended.
