Nicely firm. No more bad back
I wanted to take some time before writing this review. After sleeping on this mattress for six months, I can confidently say I’m thrilled with my purchase. I have a slipped disk and used to wake up in the middle of the night with back pain and stiffness in the morning. This mattress has made a significant difference in reducing my back pain. It has the perfect balance of firmness—softer than a futon but firm enough to support my spine all night long. I highly recommend this mattress.

Really pleased
I suffered from an injured shoulder a few years back so have been sleeping on an orthopaedic mattress since then, but since my shoulder recovered I found that mattress too uncomfortable and so I bought this mattress instead. I find it provides ample support, being firm but not too firm for me (I'm 180cm tall and weigh 95kg for reference). I'm a side sleeper, and I also tend to get quite warm in my sleep. This mattress is comfortable and breathable so it works for me.

Our supplier has advised that the Silentnight Eco Comfort Breathe 1400 Pocket Double Mattress buttons should not be felt however you can use a mattress protector which would help with this.

Our supplier says "The iGel mattress is not manufactured by Silentnight, so unfortunately we cannot offer any advice.
The Eco Comfort Breathe 1400 Contains Eco Comfort Fibre layers which are extra breathable so helps if you are a warm sleeper through the night. The use of a mattress protector is a recommendation as part of our warranty and care instructions and should not affect the performance of the mattress."
