So, now's the time to make the move from cot to big bed? The Ellis toddler bed with storage is an ideal choice. With its extra long guard rails, your little one will sleep safely and securely, while still having that new "big" feeling of independence. Close to the floor they can climb into bed themselves. Made from solid wood, the Ellis toddler bed is sturdy and easy to build.
Comes with a Habitat Kids Rae Comfort Open Coil Toddler Mattress. With a foam free core, it deliver premium comfort, and contains only clean and odourless fillings produced without the use of chemical treatments. Breathable for a refreshing, hygienic and super-comfortable sleep, it also has a removable and machine-washable cover.
The underbed storage drawer is great for storing extra bedding and toys. On sturdy castors, it tucks away neatly, great for when space is at a premium.
Our products are designed with kids in mind and are built to cope with everyday use. Tested to the latest safety regulations, they comply with British and European safety standards.

Great bed, but buy mattress separately
Great toddler bed, exactly what we were looking for! The long safety rails help to ensure my little one doesn’t fall out of bed. But do NOT buy the bundle that comes with a mattress. The mattress supplied is 16cm thick, which is too deep and renders the safety rails almost useless (see photo)! My suggestion is to buy the bed on its own and purchase a separate mattress of 10cm depth.

This is 40kgs as it's a toddler bed. The 100Kgs that you are referring to was an older version of this held under the same catalogue number. This was back in 2020. The product description is correct.

The bed can easily carry the weight from an older child, as it´s tested with 100kg. according to the BS 8509 safety and strength standard. ”
