Beautiful bookshelf
Both colour and style are quite impressive. It was also very easy to assemble, and instructions were clear. A little minus goes to the doors of the closed storage, who are no fully align. But they still open and close so nothing to worry about.

Well made and nice looking bookcase
Well made and nice looking bookcase. Needs to be assembled, ideally by 2 people. Instructions are in a large booklet and is fairly easy to follow.

Easy to put together and great finish.
Easy to put together and great finish. Not the most sturdy but perfect for the price

Fab bookcase
Lovely bookcase. Someone else put it together for me (on his own) and he didn't have any complaints. Looks lovely in my living room and I like that there is a compartment at the bottom for hiding things.

Great bookcase.
Great bookcase. Previous reviews had mentioned gaps in the veneer but mine was fine. Perhaps a production issue that has been solved. Very happy with it.

Poor quality for the price
I ignored the other reviews about this problem, and wish I hadn't. There are gaps in the veneer that are noticeable and cheap looking. For a bookcase priced this high, this is unacceptable. It weighs about 40kg so good luck moving the box around while you wait for them to come collect it!

Marathon shelf unit
It looks great and was straightforward to put together. However, there are gaps in the veneer at the sides where the shelves meet the frame and it does need to be fastened to the wall. The gaps in the veneer are not too noticeable depending on it’s position… mine is in an alcove so it’s fine. The price is the decider here.

Pleased with this!
The wood of this unit is lovely but I do agree it is wobbly- so best to have it fitted to the wall. Would recommend however- it's basically a wonderful dupe for the west elm bookcase and half the price!
