Turn any room into a cinema room. This ultra-modern tv unit is slick and sleek with a top that seems to hover above the cabinet it's based on. Wide enough to fit a large flat screen TV beautiful console takes your home entertainment game to the next level. With a stylish top, it hits the luxury home design trend on the head whilst being functional as well. This product must be securely attached to the wall to prevent overturning (fixings included).
Savvy tech style. Games and audio consoles slide neatly under the floating top and a clever space has been created behind them to thread unsightly wires through and out of sight. Two generous, easy glide storage drawers beneath are ideal for housing remotes, handsets and headsets and spare leads. Streamlined, handleless and modern. Now your only problem is deciding what to watch.

Get what you pay for
Cheapest tv stand I could find for my tv, definitely does the job but I don’t know how long it will last, the quality isn’t the best and the drawers don’t fit the best. I saw other reviews saying about dodgy drawers and I thought maybe they just built it badly but the drawers are just a bit dodgy shaped. Oh well can’t complain for the price!

Brilliant TV stand/console
I bought this because I have a new 65” TV. It’s awesome, perfect fit for the TV and our home. It took me less than an hour to assemble.

How I received nothing for £145.00
I was sent the oak as opposed to the white Floating Top TV Unit. I sent it back and have been told numerous times on the telephone that I was being reimbursed - I haven’t been. I made this order on November 26th and have nothing to show except a large phone bill and a lot of stress. I’d planned to give this unit to my daughter for Christmas. The whole experience has been so disappointing and I want my money back.

So easy to assemble
I was unsure if I would be able to assemble this product by myself, but decided to give it a go, so I bought the product. I found the instructions really clear, all the contents were clearly labelled and if I said that it was a doddle putting it together I would not be far from the truth. I found the assembly of the product stress free and I would go as far as to say quite therapeutic. The end result was not what I expected, in my view it was near on perfect. I would not hesitate to buy any other products from Habitat in fact I have already got my eye on a couple of sideboards, main problem is deciding which one to buy.

Hi Iona,
The Habitat Floating Top TV Unit - White does not have a high gloss finish.

Hi Aquille,
Thanks for your query about the Floating Top TV Unit - White.
It's mostly held on by short wooden dowels, however, these are designed to be very tightly fitting in the holes on the vertical panels so they should hold the top without issue. The vertical panels on which the top fixes to the rest of the unit are held onto the rest of the unit with locking cam nuts.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Scot,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Floating Top TV Unit - White: The gap across the front of the unit, between the uprights is 881mm.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Im sorry but that not good enough. The unit is needed in a place it cannot be secured to a wall and I bought this product based on reading the information on here that specifically said it didnt need to be. Thats misleading advertising. Ive now already built it and now am too worried to use it. Ill be making a complaint as 175 pounds is a lot of money to some of us.
Hello Victoria,
The Habitat Floating Top TV Unit - White does need to be secured to the wall.
The instructions state: ''WARNING: To prevent possible overbalancing this unit must be secured to a wall using the 2 overbalance protector kits supplied.''
