Nice but hard to hang

Nice frame but due to the depth of the frame and design of the metal hanging brackets on the back this cannot be hung with normal picture hooks, I had to rest the edge of the frame on the hooks instead which may lead to damage in the long term as it is painted wood.
Decent looking frame but disappointed to find this haaa plain black untextured finish which I had not expected from the listing. No card mount included, which is a shame. Also the clips to hold the back in place are fiddly. The cobalt blue frame is a much better quality item- this is still better than the Ikea equivalent though.
Bought for a landscape photograph in a 40x50cm mount and it fitted exactly. Real glass rather than plastic. Frame is quite deep so it sits flat against the wall when hung, giving a tidy appearance.
Bought as replacement for similar sized product from Swedish manufacturer. Accommodated picture perfectly and glass front preferable to acrylic but one corner clearly misaligned. Expected better from something that cost 3 times as much as item it replaced. Not great value but at least additional weight and superior fitting ensures it stays put.
I bought this item twice now and all I can say is that it is of good quality (evidenced by the repeat purchase). Good value for money and looks very elegant as well. Two thumbs up.
For the relatively modest price I was genuinely surprised by what a classy looking picture frame this is. Deep frame; sturdy, but elegant - and glass, rather than plastic (which always scratches, or starts looking misty over time). Honestly wouldn't look out of place in a gallery. Very pleased.
The product itself is very nice, but if you ordered it because you searched for a 16x20 inch frame (which i did) be aware that it isnt in fact 16x20.
The cm sizing of 40x50 is correct, but that is 15.74 x 19.68 inches, and therefore will not fit a 16x20 inch print.
I should have checked, but an accurate description would have been useful.
I have looked into this for you and I would say that this is designed to be hung horizontally as the fixings may already be attached to the back of the frame.
